School District Wellness Plan
According to state regulations local school wellness policies are written documents that guides a local education agency or school district's efforts to establish a school environment that promotes student health, well-being and ability to learn. The Healthy, Hunger‐Free Kids Act of 2010 expands the scope of wellness policies; brings in additional stakeholders in its development, implementation and review; triennial assessments; and requires public updates on the content and implementation.
