February 14, “any kind” soup cook-off

Jr/Sr parents/students have been busy planning and raising money for another fun, safe after prom.
We have had various fund raisers in the past and would like to tell you about what is coming up in the future. On Sunday, February 14 we will have an “any kind” soup cook-off and auction. This will be held at the Parish Hall in Dunlap. Serving will start at 4:30. Several local celebrities will be on hand to show off their cooking skills. In addition there will be an auction with many interesting items donated. We hope you will attend this worthy cause.
Also, underway is a “Friendly Neighborhood Lottery.” four hundred numbers are being sold at $10 each. You then write your name on the numbered square you have purchased. Once all four hundred numbers are sold- we will draw one lucky number. The person’s name on that number will win $500. His/her four neighbors will each win $75. This is a huge fundraiser. The board is on display at all home basketball games or you may purchase a number by calling Hollie Nelson at 674-3284. Please call or come to a game and help us fill our board!
The Jr/Sr students and parents would like to extend a big thank you to all who have helped by working, donating, buying candy, buying #s, can redemption/attending events etc. We hope to be self funding and not have to rely so much on area businesses. Please continue your support and keep us in your thoughts for another great and successful after prom.
